Notices

Notices are prominently displayed messages on your status page that allow you to communicate important information to your users, such as scheduled maintenance, ongoing incidents, or general announcements.

Configuration

Notices are configured as an array under the ui.notices section of your configuration file:

ui:
  enabled: true
  notices:
    - title: Scheduled Maintenance
      description: |
We will be performing scheduled maintenance on our systems
from 2:00 AM to 4:00 AM UTC on August 15th. Some services
        may be temporarily unavailable.
      timestamp: 2025-08-15T02:00:00Z
      level: warning
    - title: Service Restored
      description: |
All services have been restored to normal operation
        following the maintenance window.
      timestamp: 2025-08-15T04:30:00Z
      level: ok

Tips

Grey will attempt to reload any new notices from your configuration file automatically once every 10 seconds. You do not need to restart Grey for new notices to appear.
